Regular checkups are critical to your pet’s well-being. Pets can’t tell us where they hurt or what is sick inside, we have to start with a physical examination to look for clues as to what may be causing illness. 

Physical examinations give us a chance to evaluate the overall health of your pet and also establishes what is normal for your pet. 

Not only do these exams keep us up-to-date with your pet’s health, they also allow us to detect potential problems early before they become serious and more expensive to treat. 

Regular visits also makes you pet more familiar with the veterinary hospital which makes future visits less stressful for both of you. You are always welcome to bring your pet to Caring Hands Animal Hospital of Live Oak for a social visit or free weigh-in.
