 Protecting Your Furry Friends All puppies and Kittens should have their first set of vaccinations by at least 8 weeks of age, and will need booster or repeat vaccinations until they are approximately 4-5 months old. Due to the frequency of persistent hookworms and whipworms in our subtropical climate, it is critical that all puppies and kittens receive an intestinal parasite screening with deworming.
